In 2014, The Hong Kong Jockey Club partnered with Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and supported by Manchester United to introduce the JC Youth Football Leadership Scheme (the Scheme) to nurture and inspire football-loving youngsters, equipping them to become leaders in creating a better community. Through basic football coaching course and a series of thematic workshops conducted by professional instructors, the Scheme aims to strengthen the leadership skills of youth players by enhancing their physical, mental and social abilities, both on and off the pitch.
Since 2013, The Hong Kong Jockey Club has partnered with Manchester United to bring the JC School Football Development Scheme (the Scheme) to local kindergartens, primary, secondary and tertiary schools. The Scheme aims to develop the potential of teachers and coaches by introducing a training model based on inspiration and encouragement, helping young players develop their physical, mental and social skills as well as put their Best Foot Forward.
Since 2012, the Club has been the Community Football Partner of Manchester United in Hong Kong, bringing innovative and professional programmes designed to encourage youth development across elite, school and community levels.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club has been actively promoting local football development in close collaboration with the Football Association of Hong Kong, China for many years. To date, the Club has provided over HK$221 million in approved donations to support football-related projects to the HKFA.
