Since 2014, The Hong Kong Jockey Club has partnered with Manchester United and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals to introduce the JC Youth Football Leadership Scheme (the Scheme) to nurture and inspire football-loving youngsters, equipping them to become leaders in creating a better community. The Scheme is now supported by donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

Through football event organisation workshops led by the Manchester United Soccer Schools’ coach and a series of thematic workshops conducted by professional instructors, the Scheme aims to strengthen the leadership skills of youths by enhancing their physical, mental and social abilities, both on and off the pitch.
