JC School Football Development Scheme

The JC School Football Development Scheme helps develop the potential of Hong Kong youth through football. The partnership with Manchester United enables teachers and coaches to receive specialised training and experience professional training model. Outstanding participants from primary and secondary schools will also have the opportunity to interact with the Manchester United team and local community football coaches during the exchange tour in Manchester, UK.

Since 2022, the Scheme has been extended to kindergartens, with a commitment to promoting a "Happy Football" culture across Hong Kong. Through the Introductory Football Coaching Workshop and School Visits, kindergarten teachers are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to organise systematic football activities for K2 and K3 students. The Parents-and-Kids Football FUN Day further provides families with the chance to enjoy football together, inspiring children’s overall development and well-being.

Scheme Details

Since 2013, the Scheme has attracted over 220 kindergartens, primary, secondary schools, and tertiary institutes to participate, providing football training and mentoring to more than 7,100 teachers, coaches, students, and parents.
