Scheme Details

Through engaging in community services, the JC Youth Football Leadership Scheme nurtures and inspires young football enthusiasts, equipping them to become leaders who build a better community. The Scheme this year will commence in January 2025. Participants will learn to organise community football activities through a series of training like the football event organisation workshops, and give back to the community with their newfound knowledge.

A number of renowned star mentors from all walks of life will conduct sessions in which they will share their experience and insights on leadership attributes with the participants. Past mentors include Sammy Leung, Marco Fu, Chan Ho Yuen, Alex Fong, Li Lai Shan and more.

Dragon boat training and competition will be incorporated into the programme to inspire the younger generation to push their limits and embrace teamwork.

At the end of the six-month scheme, six outstanding young leaders will be chosen to participate in a football cultural exchange tour to Manchester, where they will participate in local community football activities to apply their knowledge and broaden their horizons.
