Terms & Conditions of “Win Mascot Figurine Contest”:

1. By participating in this “Win Mascot Figurine Contest” (the "Contest") through the JC Youth Football Development Programme’s Facebook page of The Hong Kong Jockey Club (the “Club”) (the “Programme’s Facebook Account”), participants are deemed to have agreed with and accepted these terms and conditions and undertake to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the course of participating in the Contest.
2. To participate in the Contest, participants must, during the Entry Period, (i) follow the Programme’s Facebook Account; (ii) send response by answering the question asked by the emcee at halftime of The Jockey Club Youth Football Academy Summit match ("Match") via Facebook Messenger to the Programme’s Facebook Account.
1. Entry Period: The Contest begins at halftime of the Match on 9 Aug 2023 Hong Kong Time and ends by the end of the Match (the “Entry Period”).
2. The Submission: By submitting an entry of a response in the Programme’s Facebook Account, you warrant that your entry is your own original work; and does not contain Unacceptable Contents or require any reporting or royalty obligation to any third party.
3. The submitted response must not be illicit, insulting, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, or contains indecent elements, foul language, any other unlawful elements or elements that would incite a crime, personal attacks, commercial advertising or content that may infringe intellectual property or privacy of others (collectively, "Unacceptable Contents"). The Club reserves the right to remove any information or material which we consider to be Unacceptable Contents as aforesaid and disqualify the relevant participants without prejudice to the remedies or relief available to the Club under the law.
4. The Club reserves the perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, sub-licensable and royalty-free right to use all or any part of the response submitted through the the Programme’s Facebook Account for promotional, marketing and other purposes (including without limitation, organisation of any other activities in connection with this Contest and/or the subject matter thereof) subject to any alteration that the Club may make with or without attribution to the relevant participants.
5. The Club will select a total of 100  participants who submitted the response the fastest with correct answer via the Programme’s Facebook Account as the winners of the Contest. The winners will be selected by the Club based on the order of the responses and the answers submitted are correct. The decision of the Club shall be final.
6. Each winner will be entitled to one(1) Mascot Figurine ("Prize"). Prizes will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last. The decision of the Club shall be final. Each participant is only eligible to win one (1) Prize in the Contest. The Prize will be decided by the Club, no objection is allowed.  All photos are for reference only, and may differ from the actual colour and appearance.
7. The Club will notify the winners on or before 14 Aug 2023 at 11:59 pm via Facebook Messenger.
8. Each winner is required to provide the Club with his/her full name, phone number and delivery address through Facebook Messenger by replying to the Prize Notification Message from the the Programme’s Facebook Account of receiving the Message in order to claim the Prize. If winners do not respond within 3 working days, the Prize for the original winners will be forfeited and awarded to back up winners.
9. The Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.
10. Entry time and record are recorded by the computer system of the Club and/or its service provider, and the record of the Club and/or its service provider shall be final and conclusive. Any entry that is made after the deadline of submission will not be accepted. Proof of dispatch cannot be accepted as proof of submission of any entry. Neither the Club nor its service provider accepts any liability or responsibility for any loss, damage, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside of its control, or any other loss howsoever caused.
11. Participants shall not participate in this Contest using any means which may cause disruption to the operations of the the Programme’s Facebook Account. Any such participants will be disqualified. The Club reserves the right to pursue legal action.  Any participants found to have acted fraudulently, corruptly or dishonestly in this Contest will be disqualified immediately.
12. In case of any claim, compensation or liability arising from any participant’s information and/or materials and/or the usage of such information and/or materials by the Club related to participation in this Contest, those participants sending and/or transmitting such information and/or materials shall indemnify the Club for any such claim, compensation or liability.
13. To the maximum extent permitted by laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Club does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, death or personal injury arising from or in connection with the use or enjoyment of any of the prizes. 
14. The Club reserves the right to amend any of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.  In case of any dispute in relation to the Terms and Conditions, the decision of the Club shall be final.
15. All participants expressly confirm that they have read and understood the Club's Privacy Policy Statement at http://www.hkjc.com/english/corporate/corp_privacy.asp, and further agree that the Club may use their personal data in the course of and/or for the purpose of this Contest. The Club’s appointed contractor, vendor or third-party service provider etc. (collectively, “contractor”) may assist the Club to collect, use, store, keep or other means to process the data. The Club will ensure that personal data collected and used are in compliance with the Club’s Privacy Policy Statement.
16. This Contest and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Each participant is fully responsible for ensuring that his or her participation in this Contest is lawful in accordance with laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and any other applicable laws. The Club shall not be taken to make any representations, express or implied, as to the lawlessness of any participation.
17. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
18. These Terms and Conditions are available in both Chinese and English. In the event of any inconsistency between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.
