Cinderella is one of the five programmes of Le French May Arts Festival sponsored by the Club's Charities Trust.

Between now and 15 May, answer two questions correctly about the Trust's support of Le French May and fill in some simple personal details, and you will be entered into our lucky draw for the chance to win two tickets to Cinderella.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. By participating in this game, the participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed with all of the terms and conditions set out below.
  2. Prize for the game for each winner is two (2) tickets of Cinderella show tickets (value: HK$480 per ticket) on 1 June 2016 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Grand Theatre. The date of the tickets will be awarded as prize of this game are pre-determined by The Hong Kong Jockey Club at its sole discretion and the winners shall have no rights to demand for admission ticket of other date.
  3. Participants can only enter the game once and, if winning, win one prize and verification shall be based on the registered Hong Kong phone number and email address. The registered phone number and email address will be used to contact winner for prize distribution, and participants are required to register with valid Hong Kong phone number and email address.
  4. Participants must be aged 18 or above and hold a valid Hong Kong identity card. Staff of The Hong Kong Jockey Club and the advertisement agency engaged for promotion of this game, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in this game. The Hong Kong Jockey Club reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants.
  5. Each participant hereby acknowledges that the security of transmission of information over the internet cannot be fully guaranteed. Hence the participant accepts the risk of sending sensitive or confidential information over the internet, particularly when such are not encrypted, and that the entry may be subject to interruption, interference, hacking, transmission failure or delay. The Hong Kong Jockey Club shall, under no circumstances, be liable for any network, facility or security failure which may affect or compromise the participant's interest.
  6. The notice in relation to the game results will be advertised on 20 May 2016 on Sing Tao Daily, The Standard and on Community & Charities page on hkjc.com. These announcements will be made for fulfilment of duty owed by licensee of Trade Promotion Competition Licence, and shall in no event indicate or suggest any second round of game or any re-draw.
  7. Each winner will first receive an SMS notification sent to the number provided to The Hong Kong Jockey Club at the entry submission. If the SMS notification is bounced back due to invalid phone number, The Hong Kong Jockey Club will notify the winner by email, to the email address provided to The Hong Kong Jockey Club at the entry submission. If the email is bounced back, the winner shall be disqualified and the Club may at its sole discretion replace with another participant.
  8. The Hong Kong Jockey Club reserves the right to disqualify (i) any entry with incorrect, incomplete or invalid personal information (including without limitation, phone number and/or email address); (ii) duplicate submissions or submissions that fail to meet the contest requirements of this game; or (iii) any entry which has been interfered, corrupted or otherwise damaged.
  9. Winners must redeem their prizes in person on or before 31 May 2016 at The Hong Kong Jockey Club Headquarters. Late redemption and/or redemption by delegates will not be accepted.
  10. Winners must present the SMS notification and/or email for prize redemption (as the case may be) with a valid Hong Kong identity card bearing the name identical to the name (in The Hong Kong Jockey Club's record) of any winner notified of winning. Winners are advised not to delete the SMS notification and/or email for prize redemption. If the SMS notification and/or email for prize redemption is damaged, defaced or lost; no replacement will be issued and no prize will be given.
  11. If no SMS notification and/or email for prize redemption is presented, no prize will be dispensed.
  12. The Hong Kong Jockey Club shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from failure or delay in transmission of the SMS notification and/or email for prize redemption, and will not dispense any prize as a result of any such failure or delay, save and except due to gross negligence of The Hong Kong Jockey Club.
  13. The prizes and/or the SMS notification and/or email for prize redemption cannot be redeemable for cash, nor for resale purpose whether with the intent to make profit or not.
  14. The Hong Kong Jockey Club is not the organiser of or otherwise involved in the operation, management, staging, cancellation or postponement of the show of which the tickets are awarded as prizes of this game and shall not be responsible for or in connection with the prizes, the show and/or use of the tickets, therefore to the maximum extent permitted by law, The Hong Kong Jockey Club does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, death or personal injury arising from or in connection with the use or enjoyment of any of the prizes. The use of the prize by the winner is subject to the terms and conditions of the organiser of the show and the manager of the show venue and any dispute arising from the use of any of the prizes shall be resolved between the winner and the organiser of the show and/or the manager of the show venue, for which The Hong Kong Jockey Club accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever.
  15. The Hong Kong Jockey Club reserves the right to use any recorded footages and/or photos of winners for promotional and/or record purpose of this game (including without limitation, organisation of any other activity in connection with this game and/or the subject matter thereof).
  16. Entrants must take care of and be responsible for their own personal belongings and safety. To the maximum extent permitted by laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, The Hong Kong Jockey Club shall neither be responsible nor pay any compensation for the loss or damage to any property nor injury or death sustained by entrants.
  17. Each participant expressly confirms that he/she has read and understood Privacy Policy Statement – Notice relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (which is available on www.hkjc.com/english/corporate/corp_privacy.asp), and further agrees that The Hong Kong Jockey Club may use his/her personal data in the course of and/or for the purpose of this game.
  18. Both the participants and The Hong Kong Jockey Club agree and acknowledge that (1) they do not intend any term of these Terms and Conditions to be enforceable by any third party pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623); and (2) these Terms and Conditions shall be excluded from the application of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance.
  19. In the event of disputes, the decision of The Hong Kong Jockey Club shall be final. In the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese and the English versions, the English version shall prevail.
