The Hong Kong Jockey Club promotes the development of arts and culture to enrich the lives of Hong Kong people. Being the sole sponsor, we proudly bring you The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Great Unity – Civilisation of the Qin and Han Dynasties in Shaanxi Province exhibition.

The exhibition features over 100 pieces (sets) of treasured exhibits, including the terracotta army of Emperor Qin Shihuang, the warrior and animal figurines of the Emperor Jing of Han, components of chariot, as well as architectural components, showcasing the development of politics, economy, culture, technology and cross-border transportation during the Qin and Han dynasties. It also introduces the historical development of Hong Kong of the periods.

We also support a series of educational activities to help visitors learn more about the history and culture of the Qin and Han dynasties in an engaging way, which includes guided tours, expert talks and workshops. An interactive zone presents the development of the Lingnan region during the Qin and Han dynasties through displays, animations and interactive games. Learning kits are distributed to primary and secondary schools to further support their classroom education.

We commit to building an inclusive, creative and vibrant Hong Kong, where everyone can enjoy the benefits offered by cultural experiences and an improved quality of life through arts.
