The Hong Kong Jockey Club (the Club) has become the title sponsor of the JC Sapling Cup for three consecutive years starting from the 2022/23 season. This tournament provides valuable playing opportunities for emerging youth players as participating premier league clubs must field a minimum of three U22 (under-22) players throughout each match. This echoes with the Club’s commitment to inspiring young people to unleash their full potential.

Additionally, the Club intends to bring football closer to the community. Students and users of NGO service will be invited to enjoy Cup games, while members of the JC Junior Sports Reporters Programme will be involved in reporting three Sapling Cup games via live webcasts.
