Exhibition Details

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: “Joan Miró - The Poetry of Everyday Life” exhibition, exclusively sponsored by the Club; presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department; and jointly organised by the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) and the Fundació Joan Miró, Barcelona, is being held from now until 2 July at HKMoA.

Joan Miró is one of the most renowned Spanish artists of the 20th century. Along with Picasso and Dalí, he is known as one of the “three greats of Spanish modern art”. This exhibition showcases 94 artworks by Miró (including paintings, sculptures, drawings, textiles, lithographs and posters) and audio-visual materials, all for the first time in Hong Kong.

The Club’s support for this exhibition aligns with its commitment to promote culture - one of the priority areas of its charity strategy – and make cultural experiences accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
