The “Cheung Chau Jiao Festival” is organised by the Hong Kong Cheung Chau Bun Festival Committee. Since 2012, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust has supported this annual celebration, which is inscribed onto the national list of intangible cultural heritage, so that the public can get to know this unique local tradition, while at the same time commit to preserving cultural activities in Hong Kong.

The Club has a long-standing commitment to promoting arts, culture and heritage in Hong Kong. The Trust-funded festive events and relevant education programmes aim to promote traditional Chinese culture and values; and enhance our city’s cultural richness and vitality.
