CHAMPIONS MILE TRACKWORK

Trackwork video 01/05/2017

RAPPER DRAGON – HK

Cantered one lap on the all-weather track.
Trainer John Moore said: “I’m very positive about his chances at the weekend. He’s done everything right and his work on Saturday morning was exceptional – he’s still peaking.”

CONVEY – GB

Remained in the quarantine stables.

STORMY ANTARCTIC – GB

Breezed through a lap of the Sha Tin all-weather track under assistant trainer Jack Steels.
Deepak Gaikwad, groom for trainer Ed Walker, said: “The horse travelled really well. He’s been to France a few times so it was not especially new for him. He’s eaten up well since he arrived and everything looks to be fine with him.”

Big-race jockey Karis Teetan said: “I spoke to the owner yesterday and he wants me to ride him in a gallop later in the week. It’s great to have a ride like that in a big race. He’s taking on some good horses but he was a good three-year-old, so I will be interested to see what he can do.”

Trackwork videos will be available by noon the day after.
(videos of May 3 and 4 will be available on May 5)
