Galloped 800m on turf down the Sha Tin riverside in 45.9s (22.3, 23.6).
Trainer Francis Lui said: “He galloped down the back from the 1800-metre start this morning and everything was fine, I’m happy with him.”

Joined trainer Tony Cruz’s string in completing two reverse laps of the small all-weather track at a canter, having galloped on Sunday morning.
Rider Neil Callan said: “I rode him in his trial last week and he gave me a good feel. He’s coming along the right way, he’s holding his form and his condition seems good.”

Cantered two laps in the reverse direction on the small all-weather track.
Trainer Ricky Yiu said: “I was very happy with his trial the other day (Friday, 28 April). He is a tough horse and he is holding his condition well. The next 1400m race is a bit far away and this is a Group 1, so it is worth taking a chance. Damian Lane is riding very well in Australia now so I am happy he is riding.”

Took to the small all-weather track to canter two reverse laps.
Trainer Caspar Fownes said: “He’s OK, he is what he is. He’s come out of the Dubai trip alright. There’s not much else he can run in, he’s rated 112 so we’ll just see. There’s nothing on dirt for him so we’ll try and find our way a bit with him, hopefully he’s competitive at set weights. If he’s not, he might be able to get into a 110 race and he’ll be a chance with a big weight.”

Trackwork videos will be available by noon the day after.
(videos of May 3 and 4 will be available on May 5)
