Former jockey Jack Wong draws on his professional racing experience to guide trainees as a Senior Riding Instructor at the Apprentice Jockeys’ School, understanding the challenges they face firsthand. Wong connects with his trainees as both a mentor and a friend, providing them with opportunities and an empathetic learning environment to help them succeed.
Wong is also pursuing a Bachelor of Health Education degree, which has already enhanced his approach as a trainer. His studies have strengthened his ability to design more effective training scenarios and improved his communication skills, enabling him to better support and inspire his trainees.
His ultimate goal is for the next generation of jockeys under his guidance to find success and victory on the track, just as he once did.
