During your career with us, you’ll benefit from access to some of the best educational resources and insights from internationally renowned experts. Our employees receive an average 42.9 hours every year and no expense is spared when it comes to helping you learn and improve your skills.

The Graduate Trainee Programme is a 2-year journey that provides a combination of on-the-job experience and formal training activities. It is organised into 4 specific areas – we call it our 4E Learning & Development Framework and it stands for, Education, Experience, Exposure, and Evaluation.

This is the formal part of your training where you’ll get to participate in courses and seminars that will broaden your understanding of our business and your specific area of operation. You’ll receive expert coaching in all the key strengths and abilities required as a future leader such as communication and presentation skills, critical thinking, business etiquette and team-working.

There is nothing better than actually doing the job to give you a true understanding of what it takes to be successful. During your rotations you’ll work on live assignments giving you first-hand experience of the skills and abilities necessary for different roles and functions.

During the programme you will be guided by 3 colleagues. Your mentor is there to support your career development in the longer term and will share his/her experiences to help you establish your credentials for management. You will also have a coach and this will be your direct manager. Here the emphasis will be on enabling you to build the general skills and competencies required by your specific department. And last, but not least, a buddy will help you navigate the day-to-day aspects of working here and how things get done.

We also hold lots of events where you’ll get the chance to network with colleagues from around the Club. There are team building exercises, retreats and also visits to facilities like our Beas River Country Club, the Stables and the Telebet Centre.

We know that feedback is important, as is measuring your achievement. You will receive on-going input from your manager coach, mentor, and buddy, plus guidance from HR. The Individual Development Plan incorporates your development needs and will help you keep track of your progress and review your performance.
