The programme will begin between July and August, 2017.
Graduate Trainees who demonstrate outstanding performance and potential through the two-year programme will start in a professional role in their assigned department and pursue their career as future leader in the Club.
We offer comprehensive compensation that includes a competitive salary ranging from HK$16,000 to HK$22,000 and a highly attractive benefits package. We also offer performance-based bonuses and fringe benefits.
We believe people are the key to our success. This is why we foster a working environment that reflects our core beliefs in Customers, Community, Integrity, People, Leadership, Teamwork, Quality, Business Sustainability, and Innovation.
We welcome all high-calibre graduates from any discipline who are passionate and dynamic. Having a keen interest in racing, football, and sports is beneficial, but not necessary.
You will go through a development programme with placement in an organisational division and functional attachments within that division. Besides on-the-job training, our structured development programme consists of management mentoring & coaching, corporate training, special projects, and performance reviews.
Our mentoring system offers you support from Club managers who will teach you the ropes and share their work experience. Our HR Team also provides career planning and advice.
During the programme, you will rotate among departments within your division to acquire a comprehensive learning and business exposure. Your future career planning will be a joint effort between you and the Club and takes into consideration your interests, career aspirations, performance, and internal Club opportunities.
We look for people-oriented candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should be technology savvy, good at analytics and problem solving, and have a willingness to learn.
We will be taking over 40 Graduate Trainees.
The selection process uses a multi-assessment approach to ensure comprehensive coverage of the desired criteria. Activities include online aptitude tests, assessment centre reviews, and interviews. All assessments are conducted in Hong Kong.
All candidates have an equal opportunity to join the programme as they will go through the same application and selection process. While you will likely have a basic understanding of the Club&s business, it is more important that candidates possess the attributes and potential required of a Graduate Trainee.
Yes, you can apply as long as you fulfil our programme requirements. Selected overseas candidates will be notified by e-mail to complete an online aptitude test. Subsequent selection assessments will be conducted in Hong Kong from March to April, 2017.
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and cultures to apply to our programme. Once the candidate has an offer confirmed by HKJC, our HR Team will help arrange working visas. Employment is contingent upon the approval of a working visa for the Hong Kong SAR.
Successful candidates will be contacted for the next phase of the recruitment process.
You will be notified of your next stage of application. We will try to make alternate arrangements, but please note that if you are unable to complete the next stage, you will have to re-apply for the programme.
